Hello! Welcome to Wolf System Studio! I am a lone producer who has been producing music just for myself since 2013 when I learned how to do it in school.

Although my producing days started in the metal realm, I have taken the time to try and broaden my horizon by making other genres of music too. I hope to produce an OST for a game some day!

I can play guitar, bass and make a half decent tune on the keyboard (although my two handed playing leaves much to be desired haha).

My current producing setup is as follows:

Guitars:

ESP Ltd V-50

A custom built Stratocaster

Schecter C-7 7 String

Bass:

Ibanez SR Standard 5 String

Amps:

Kemper Profiler

Positive Grid Spark 40

Keyboard:

Gear4Music hammer action keyboard

Programs:

Reaper

Addictive Drums

LABS by Spitefire Audio

Hybrid Synth Plugin

I am down to write pretty much anything, and will take the time out to research a genre if I'm not too familiar with it.

So, where else can you find me?

I think that about covers everything. Feel free to ask me anything and I'll do my best to answer you!

That's some sweet gear! I wanted a Schechter for years!

Well worth it. That Schecter of mine has some nice midrange punch, makes for a nice thick tone

@WolfSystemStudio you'd probably be surprised, but I use a jank "starcaster" with bb king jazz strings on half and slinkies on the other. But I actually use my guitar library for Kontakt more often since I can barely play anymore. I'm teaching myself rudimentary bass playing

I like live recording. Gonna be uploading a death metal track I wrote and recorded soon so keep an eye out for that. Only thing drawn in is the drums. Is Kontakt any good?

@WolfSystemStudio Kontakt is a fantastic software but it takes up a lot of RAM. The instruments and how they are designed are what makes it a worthwhile investment or a miss. Project by project basis. Myself I am known to use it as well as plogue sforzando, which does a lot of the same but you can find lots of free packs on the web for it or easily make them yourself.

I have some free instruments up for it, Saudade Drums Remastered, CTK-2400 keys. They're in my news posts. The former is a metal drum sample library that was initially for kontakt. It disappeared after the band that made it disbanded forever, and the files were noisy, so I cleaned them up in RX7 and made a sfz instrument out of it.

I may have to give it a look into. I like experimenting with new plugins and stuff. Always chasing that next best sound haha

@WolfSystemStudio The saudade kick is worth loading separately. I parsed it into several, several pitches, which can be used for more realistic rolling than most vsts!

I'll keep that in mind, much appreciated

@WolfSystemStudio for reference you can hear it on my latest track. Relatively unprocessed

@WolfSystemStudio Are you looking for any orchestral sounds? Synful Orchestra recently became free. It's the only GOOD free violin and clarinet sound I've ever found

Always looking for good orchestral sounds. Shall deffo give that one a try

@WolfSystemStudio Let me know what you think! Sometimes it can be unstable -- so I have some other recommendations. Gotta go look because I'm bad with names
